Event Overview:
The WORGC 10-shot rifle shoot is a straightforward marksmanship event. Participants will take turns shooting at steel targets from various distances and positions while being timed. This event is open to shooters of all skill levels, with separate classes for magnified and non-magnified optics to keep things fair.
Competition Details:
Participants will aim to hit a steel target five times at 100 yards while standing within 2 minutes and hit another steel target five times at 200 yards while sitting within another 2 minutes.
If a participant successfully hits all five targets at either distance, they will earn a bonus point for each perfect completion.
Two rounds of shooting will occur and participants score of both rounds will be tallied up. The winner in each group is the participant with the highest score.
If a tie occurs, the tied participants will perform another round of shooting with half the previous time to take the shots at each distance.
The winners of each class will receive two $10 gift cards to Giant Eagle.
Rules:
Each participant must bring at least 30 rounds of their own Non-armor piercing ammunition. Ammo is to be limited to 3000 FPS maximum.
Each participant is expected to bring their own eye and ear protection, and is expected to dress accordingly for the weather.
Follow all range safety protocols and instructions provided on-site.
